The Black Dahlia Society was founded by husband team Shawn and Jonathan Zane-Sharpless, blending their creative backgrounds in floral design, fashion, and beauty into one unique studio.

Shawn discovered his love for floral design as a child, helping his mother with holiday arrangements. After a successful career in fashion with brands like Versace, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren, he returned to his roots and earned his floral certification from The Flower School New York. He now creates floral designs for weddings, events, and iconic venues like The Plaza Hotel and Radio City Music Hall.

Jonathan grew up surrounded by creativity, whether in the garden with his grandmother or the woodshop with his family. He found his calling in hairstyling and has become an Emmy-nominated artist, with work featured in The Gilded Age, Wonder Woman 1984, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Together, Shawn and Jonathan combine their talents to create bold, artistic floral experiences. The Black Dahlia Society is where their shared love of design, nature, and storytelling comes to life.
